Cheap Tuxedo Tails

My sister is getting married. I just got the invitation last week. It came as a bit of a shock to me because she never really seemed to love the guy. Like him, yeah. But love is a strong word, and I wouldn't describe their relationship with it. I have to find myself cheap tuxedo tails for it anyway, but that's just my opinion. Personally, I don't think anyone should get married if they aren't definitely, absolutely, without a doubt, in love. It's hard enough to grow wit heach other over the years and make it work when you are. But if you're just in like, can it even hope to work?

 

 
Whether I think it has a chance or not, I'll do my part. I'll find cheap tuxedo tails that fit well and I'll show up and smile big for her. I hope she's happy, after all. I wish her nothing but the best. And it's not like I hate the guy or anything. I guess I just think she can do better. He's too much of a dreamer. She's told me herself that she can't stand it sometimes, We were all raised as horrible realists, I'm afraid. He has these big plans for the future, and all these rainbows that he's chasing, but what if nothing ever comes true? Then where will they be?

He's an artistic type. That's what it is. He tries to write all these screenplays and send them in like something is going ot happen with it. Don't get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with having a dream. You just can't let it overtake your life, that's all. I think you have to see reality for what it is and have a back up plan. Especially when you're planning a wedding and getting everyone to buy their dresses and cheap tuxedo tails to attend it.

She doesn't seem to be gagga over him either. I know that's a terrible word, but it fits. It seems to me that for an event that requires cheap tuxedo tails, and a walk down the isle you should be that way over the groom. He should make you swoon or something. But it's like they're friends mostly. They hang out and get along well enough, but there's no real passion there. No primal need for each other and no fighting. Some people think fighting is the worst thing in a relationship, but I disagree. If you fight, that means there's passion there somewhere.

And this is who I'm going to get all dressed up in cheap tuxedo tails and watch her walk down the aisle with. His head's in the clouds and they're glorified buddies. I would never tell her that, but it's the truth. And how are you going to get through life like that?

Maybe I'm a cynic. That's what one of my friends tells me. He tells me that sometimes friendship is what the best relationships are made of and everything else can grow around that. I disagree, but I hope so. I hope she'll be happy with her the man she's picked. I'll get into those cheap tuxedo tails and cheer her on all I have to on her wedding day, and I'll hope everything turns out all right. I guess we won't know who's right for another thirty years or so.
